Covering nearly 33,000 m², Rulantica offers a unique water adventure in a stunning Scandinavian setting. Nine imaginative themed areas and 25 water attractions transport visitors into a world of caves, rock formations, and icy landscapes. The shell-shaped main hall is not only an architectural masterpiece but also welcomes up to 5,000 guests daily.

THE CHALLENGE

Rulantica is a world-class water adventure park that welcomes thousands of visitors every day. To ensure a seamless and unforgettable guest experience, a state-of-the-art access system was required—one that combines security, efficiency, and convenience. The challenge was to manage high visitor flows smoothly, implement a smart locker system, and simplify cashless payments throughout the park—all while minimizing staff requirements and maximizing ease of use.

 

SOLUTION

By partnering with Gantner, Rulantica opted for an experienced specialist in access and locker systems. Using cutting-edge RFID technology, an innovative guest management system was implemented: Visitors receive a multifunctional wristband that grants them entry, serves as a digital locker key, and enables cashless transactions. Turnstiles equipped with RFID terminals ensure fast and secure admission, while smart locker solutions provide efficient storage management. The seamless integration of all systems allows for smooth access control, effortless locker usage, and streamlined payments – creating a stress-free experience and a truly memorable visit.

GT7

The GT7 terminal, with or without a fingerprint or barcode reader, stands out due to its features like RFID and NFC identification and its unique app concept. The apps can be uploaded onto the universal hardware and determine whether the device is used as an access, time, or info terminal.

With the corresponding app, our GT7 can also be used as a central terminal for managing locker locks. In this case, lockers can be selected and opened centrally via the GT7. The lock can then be operated directly at the locker or still be controlled via the terminal.

G7 Return

The G7 Return is a modern, sturdy wristband return machine for RFID wristbands, adding to the automation options for recreational facilities. When visitors leave the premises, they place their wristbands into a clearly identifiable return slot. The data on the wristband is then read through the connected management software, and the exit is automated, provided there are no outstanding balances on the wristband. It’s an efficient, durable, and visually appealing solution to reduce staffing needs and improve safety and convenience.

NET.Lock

The RFID-based innovation GAT NET.Lock is an electronic, alarm-secured locker lock that is operated contactlessly using various data carriers. It is maintenance-free, PC-manageable, and integrable into many management systems. A unique feature is its support for both 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz RFID technologies as well as NFC. Additionally, the latest version of GAT NET.Lock offers USB A and C ports and interior lighting for various types of cabinets. Management is done via the eLoxx Suite software solution, allowing for central authorization of openings and monitoring of usage. The system features an integrated tamper alarm and provides a high level of security.
