How does it work?

Some Gantner terminals are equipped with a fingerprint reader. In this system, the stored fingerprint data on the card is compared with the fingerprint of the authorized individual. This additional verification step enhances identity confirmation. Only the legitimate cardholder can gain access to the facility without the need for personnel checks. Fingerprints are quickly and easily scanned and stored on the chip card through an enrollment station, which records images of two fingers for verification. This ensures that, even in the event of a finger injury, a "backup key" is always available.

The new biometric access control solution guarantees operators that chip cards or wristbands cannot simply be passed on. Verification is seamless and unobtrusive, allowing visitors to feel comfortable without the need to present identification.
